CanDARE.ca is a living example of what I call “modelling and muddling” with digital accessibility and inclusion.
I aim for posts to be exemplars of digital accessibility, but sometimes what you see is an example of an educator/researcher, not unlike like you, who is trying to do the best she can with the resources and personal capital available.
I’ll try to flag when I’m not sure about the accessibility of something, but I’m going to miss stuff and I’m going to screw up. I have some help testing the site for accessibility, but we know that no one is perfect and accessibility is dynamic, so if you find any accessibility issues please let me know! I welcome feedback and community engagement.
